I didn't really do much with this photo, but sometimes simple is best.
I created this blog for those who enjoy digital work. A place to share my creations with you and a place for you to leave comments. The stock photos I used for these practice pieces are available at: www.sxc.com, freedigitalphotos.net, or free-use flicker groups. I will also be using other sources in the future. There is an abundance of photos available for your personal use as well as commercial, each with their own terms of use &/or copyrights.

I really like the blockprint effect.
I would to learn how to mimic it with my Paintshop Pro.
My first years were in Japan, and we my father purchased 12 Hiroshige prints while we were there. Whereever we were stationed, we put them up on one wall of our dining room. Black enamel frames...very slender. And it was Hiroshige's winter series in edo - lots of reds, blacks, whites, and deep navy blue. Exquisite.
